In our experience, so called "free" home consultations are not free but simply factored into the finished price. In fact, as not everyone will buy afterwards there is probably more than one consultation factored into the price. The Fabric Stores operates slightly differently to our competitors. As we carry stock of over 9,000 mtrs of fabric in roll form it is impossible to take this to customers homes. We therefore encourage customers to take approximate measurements of their windows (click here for measurement guides) and to visit the shop to select the fabric of their choice. We can then provide an estimate of cost for any made up items or for just fabric only. If you then decide to go ahead we will come out and take a check measure after the deposit is paid. By doing it this way we strip out a significant amount of cost that we pass on to the customer.

The Fabric Stores accepts payment by credit / debit card, cheques, or even good old fashioned cash.

It is always advisable to measure final dimensions after the pole / track has been fitted but we can provide quotations at any stage.

Yes, absolutely.
We also supply everything you will need, such as linings, tape, roman tracks & rods, child safety devices etc.

We offer the customer the option of either fitting / hanging themselves or we can arrange it.
By giving customers the option of hanging / fitting their own products our costs are reduced which are passed onto the customer. We use a professional 3rd party fitter, Pete Smith from Fast Track Curtain & Fitting.

We can supply a small cutting to take home and often a larger piece on loan, subject to a small deposit.

Yes we can supply accessories made up in the fabric of your choice to the style and size of your choice

As our warehouse stock is fast moving it is impossible to keep the website up  to date.

All of our fabrics can be made into cushions for you, in the size you like. We can also supply cushion pads at very reasonable cost.

Yes, we have samples in the unit but have access to a very large range of metal tracks, metalnd wooden curtain poles in different designs, colours and finishes.
All poles and tracks ordered from us are cut to length as a matter of course.
